FAQ

What is rush?
A rush ticket is a discounted ticket that is usually available only on the day of the performance. The seating location for rush tickets varies from show to show, ranging from front row in the orchestra to the last row on the balcony.

In-person rush tickets can be purchased at the box office as soon as it opens. Typically, Broadway box offices open at 10 AM from Monday to Saturday, and 12 PM on Sunday. Since rush tickets are offered on a first-come first-served basis, it's not uncommon to see people lining up hours in advance of the box office opening for popular shows.

For digital rush tickets, you can click on the provided links from any device to access the ticketing platform. For mobile rush tickets, you will need to have the TodayTix app installed on your phone. Clicking on the mobile rush links on your phone will open the app for you.

What is lottery?
Similar to rush, some shows offer discounted tickets through a lottery system. While most shows accept lottery entries on the day before a performance, some open the lottery for the entire following week on a specific date. You can find the rules for each show by clicking on the links labeled "lottery" if you're visiting on your phone, or the links in the "lottery" column if you're visiting on a computer.

Currently, Wicked is the only Broadway show still offering an in-person lottery. To enter, you need to show up at the box office 2 hours before showtime. All other lotteries are conducted online.
What is sro?
Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets are standing tickets, usually located at the back of the orchestra seating. These tickets are offered at a discounted price and can be purchased in person at the box office. They are only available when a show is sold out. The availability of SRO tickets can vary throughout the day, as it depends on the show's sold-out status.
What is that chart with orange/blue dots in it?
This is the schedule of the show for the current week. Please note that I cannot guarantee these schedules are always up to date, so it's important to check the official source when making plans.

The 7-grid layout represents Monday through Sunday from left to right. Saturday and Sunday are indicated with diagonal lines in the background. Each dot on the grid signifies a show scheduled for that day. If a dot is in the top row, it represents a matinee show, while a dot in the bottom row represents an evening show. When you hover your mouse over the calendar, you can see the exact time of each performance.

Orange dots indicate the usual Broadway schedule, which includes Tuesday night, Wednesday with two shows, Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday with two shows, and Sunday matinee. Any show time outside of that list is marked with a blue dot for easy identification.

On a computer, you will find a right arrow icon next to the header labeled 'WEEK OF 202XXXXX'. Clicking on the arrow will display schedules for the next few weeks.
